Who are the Boutenkos?
I first met the Boutenkos in 1999 shortly after they had taken a family hike together. Victoria and Igor, and their teenagers, Sergei and Valya had hiked from Mexico to Canada, along the Pacific Crest Trail. This trip took 6 months. Some 80% of the food they ate along the way consisted of raw edible plants. After moving from their native Russia, they adopted the diet and lifestyle of Americans. Within several years all of them had severe health issues. Sergei's crisis with juvenile diabetes put Victoria on the path to wellness research. After a short time on raw foods Sergei's diabetes disappeared. And, soon all of their own specific health problems were all cured. In response to this, the Boutenko Family has become the most tireless, effective Raw Food evangelistic team in the world. They presently live in Ashland, OR. Victoria has spoken to crowds as large as 70 in Sacramento on previous occasions.

Our Host's home is very spacious and elegant, with a kitchen that lends itself well to food preparation demos. However, there are limits to everything, and there is a limit to how many may attend this special event. So, if you want to be among the lucky ducklings (shown below) who attend this event, you must:

When the event is full, no more reservations can be accepted. All pre-payments and reservations need to be finalized by Tuesday, March 8. You may go to this page to see who else is coming, and to see how many spaces remain. Please do not come to this event if your name does not say confirmed here. Yes, to reserve and attend you must supply your name and (optionally) the name of any other person for whom you are making a reservation. If you don't use a name, or your name cannot appear on our guest list, you are ineligible to come. Folks, it bears repeating....if you hope to attend this event, please don't delay in making an RSVP. This event will be announced to 300 people via email from Raw Sacramento's mailing list, and many others on Victoria's list. You do the math. Take appropriate action!
